About Department

Directorate of Training & Employment is working under the Department of Skills Development and Training, Government of Uttarakhand. It functions with the major objective of providing Employment Assistance Services to unemployed youngsters in the Uttarakhand state. The department strives to achieve its objective through the process of registration, renewal and advising of eligible candidates against notified vacancies.

At present 41 offices are functioning under the Department in the State: 03 Regional Employment Offices, 10 District Employment Offices, 05 Town Employment Offices, 04 University Employment Information and Guidance Bureaus, 01 Special Employment Office for Schedule Tribes, 16 Coaching cum Guidance Centre, 01 Enforcement Unit and Directorate office.
